The True Vine

The message we often get in the church and our culture is "Do more, be better". This is impossible to do on our own. We need to rest on Jesus and the goodness and fruit will follow.

if a vine does not produce fruit, all it is good for is firewood. Jesus declares himself the True Vine, so we no longer need to fear the fire. If we live in Him and keep his commandments, we are on the right path.
